I make my home near Cologne in Germany. Following a lifelong interest in natural history and in foreign cultures, I have been photographing since 1988. After receiving an engineering degree from Cologne University and working in business for several years, I chose to pursue photography as a semi-professional photographer. I learned the craft through years of passionate practice and self-study.
Travel goes hand in hand with stock photography - both are my life and passion. My images are published internationally on a wide range of products including books, calendars and greetings and postcards. My pictures have also been shown during photo exhibitions such as in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. I have considerable experience in overseas travel, project management and remote logistics since I have worked and travelled several years in foreign countries. Looking back I consider two trips, during which I spent more than two years mostly in wilderness in Asia-Pacific as one of the most memorable and ultimately successful experiences of my life.
Over the years, I have developed a reputation for introducing fresh approaches to solve the challenges faced in today's competitive business world. Because this is a personality trait, it is one I can offer my clients with confidence. By means of my photography I would like to show everyone the beauty that surrounds them. Unfortunately this isn't always noticed by everyone, mostly due to agitation these days.
The stock photography collection consists of high quality imagery in the area of travel, sustainability, nature and people. The stock images currently online only illustrate approximately a couple of hundred photographs from the photo library. My stock photo library contains thousands of images, so if you have a specific stock photo request, I encourages you to contact me for your stock photo research needs. My image bank digital database ensures fast stock photo research for all your image requests.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a picture. Every attempt is made to respond to all inquiries in a timely manner, but I regret that I can't always reply as quickly as hoped. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
